Minimum Equivalent Qualifications
For admission to a Graduate Certificate or Diploma the requirement is a degree equivalent to a 51ÉçÇøºÚÁÏ 4-year bachelor’s degree with a minimum overall grade equivalent to a B-.
Minimum Equivalent Qualifications
For admission to a master’s program, the qualifications listed are normally recognized as equivalent to a 51ÉçÇøºÚÁÏ 4-year bachelor’s degree with minimum overall grade requirements.

Fast Track Admission Institutions
If a student's achievement is insufficient for an "Honours" degree, a "Pass" degree is awarded. A General Degree is usually not classified and not equivalent to an 51ÉçÇøºÚÁÏ4 year degree. Polytechnics were given university status in 1993. Degrees granted prior to that time are not acceptable.
The higher education system in Hong Kong has expanded especially since 1995 with an increase in the number of degree-awarding institution.
Reforms and Future Changes
The proposed changes will make the education system similar to the system in the rest of the People`s Republic of China
Undergraduate education will be lengthened from 3 years to 4 years.
