check quotas and bass allocation
Base Allocation Student Support (BASS) is the funding given to units to support students on an annual basis.
- Your BASS is designated for an academic year (Sept to Aug).
- BASS competitions are named for the academic year in which the award will be paid.
If you use GDES, the BASS that appears in GA3 will be your annual BASS MINUS any GDES commitments.
Check your annual BASS usage and remaining balance on QA Dash tab
Log in to GA3 and click on the QA Dash tab:
- For鈥痶he Aid Year dropdown, select the Academic Year or choose 鈥揳ny-. An academic year runs September through the following August.
- For鈥痶he Fund dropdown, select鈥疊ASS Funding Allocation.
- For鈥疍epartment, your academic unit(s) should show in the dropdown.
- Click鈥疭earch鈥痶o see the results:
- Allocations 鈥� shows your original funding.
- Committed 鈥� shows the amount used for all ALST applications.
- Offered/Used 鈥� shows the amount that has been offered/paid.
- Remaining 鈥� show the funding you have left to use
Check your Quotas on QA Dash tab
This does not apply to all units, only those who receive: FAS GFs, CTEF GFs and FCAT GFs.
Log in to GA3 and click on the QA Dash tab:
- For鈥痶he Aid Year dropdown, select the Academic Year or choose 鈥揳ny-. An academic year runs September through the following August.
- For鈥痶he Fund dropdown, select鈥疩uotas.
- For鈥疍epartment, your academic unit(s) should show in the dropdown.
- Click鈥疭earch鈥痶o see the results:
- Quotas 鈥� shows your number of awards.
- Used 鈥� shows the awards used.
- Remaining 鈥� shows the awards you have left.
Notes:
- Doesn't add up?
- Ensure you have selected the correct Aid Year (Academic Year)
- If you use GDES, the BASS that appears in GA3 will be your annual BASS MINUS any GDES commitments.
- For BASS Funding Allocation click on the $ amount in the鈥� Committed column to see a list of students paid BASS related awards. Note that GDES award recipients will not show here.
