Notifications in SLATE are standardized as the system wants to ensure applications move through the process.
Some benefits of having email notifications:
- Users are aware that applications have been added to their Queue.
- Users can manage their time by knowing how many applications are in their Queue.

Troubleshooting: if you receive email notifications but there are no applications in your Queue, forward the email to gradap@sfu.ca. These applications may be remaining from a previous admission cycle.
