Biography

Jasmin is an MA student in Criminology at 51ÉçÇøºÚÁÏ, within the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Criminology with a minor in Sociology from SFU. Her research interests centre around issues of justice and equality, with a particular focus on decision-making processes within the criminal justice system and how these processes impact marginalized communities.

She has worked as a teaching assistant for multiple criminology courses at SFU, where she continues to support student learning and academic development. She is passionate about advancing knowledge in criminology and dedicated to enhancing educational outcomes through inclusive, evidence-based teaching practices. Jasmin is excited to join the TILT team as a research assistant, and to engage in SoTL discussion and research alongside SFU’s academic community.
