An embodied call-and-response with live singing and projected video, Lucien Durey鈥檚 So Many Feelings juxtaposes expectations for the live and recorded performer, creating an emotional and humorous interplay between audience, singers, and screen. This ongoing project was first presented for Regina's Performatorium 2014: Festival of Queer Performance, and its latest 45-minute iteration interweaves picturesque video footage spanning over a decade. Joined by Caroline Ballhorn, Chance Lovett, Amanda Sum, and Mark Wolf, Durey presents new and old chapters that layer heartfelt and comic video performances with live singing, field recordings, and foley.
